Отиващото си лято на 2002-а, късен петъчен следобед. Редник Б. излиза в гарнизонен отпуск за събота и неделя, и напуска в цивилно облекло малкото сливенско поделение. Хваща първото възможно превозно средство от автогарата с направление Бургас. Оттам – с класически “Икарус” до Сарафово. Намира улицата, къщата. Стая на третия етаж, с изглед към морето, разбира се. Предстоят му два дни извън системата, насаме със себе си. И дълги, дълги разходки по брега, надалеч. Босите крака, мокрият прохладен пясък, силният вятър. Онзи неповторим морски шум…

През цялото време в главата му звучи една мелодия, един текст. Нова песен, която по време на дежурствата му в КПП-то е слушал през последните седмици по радиото – на стария касетофон от студентските години.

Усмихнат е, с ясен поглед и танцуващо сърце, вдишващ дълбоко живота. Щастлив.

Lighthouse Family were an English duo from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. Vocalist Tunde Baiyewu was born in London, England, but moved to Nigeria at the age of five after the death of his father. Ten years later he moved back to England, going to university in Newcastle upon Tyne, and obtained a degree in accounting. He saw posters advertising for a singer and subsequently met keyboard player Paul Tucker – their partnership began quickly and they formed the act in 1993.

Lighthouse Family split up in early 2003 because of what they said was a “heavy promotional schedule” following the release of ‘Whatever Gets You Through The Day’” in 2002.

This led to both men pursuing individual projects. Baiyewu embarked on a solo career, and released an album called “Tunde” in late 2004.
